Can the Genesis laser be used with skin tightening?

Can the Genesis laser be used with fillers?

What skin care products can be used after the Genesis laser?

Mild cleansers with these cleansing ingredients will also help to protect the skin barrier and the pH of the skin. There is no recovery for the Genesis laser, so there is no downtime. You can go about your daily activities, and no one will know that you had this laser.

Is any anesthesia required for the Genesis laser?

There is no anesthesia or topical numbing cream needed for this laser. The Zimmer Chiller Device is not needed as the laser is so gentle.

What areas are treated with the Genesis laser?

The face including the nose, cheeks, and forehead and around the eyes, are often treated. The neck and chest are other areas that are frequently treated. Hands can also be treated. This is a safe and effective treatment that improves the color and texture of the skin.

Do I have to avoid sun exposure?

It is crucial to apply sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF 30 to 50, preferably containing zinc oxide. Additionally, it is beneficial to wear a hat with a brim measuring 2 inches. It is also recommended to steer clear of the midday sun between 10 AM to 3 PM.

Can a Genesis laser treat dark pigmentation?

Dark pigmentation or hyperpigmentation can be treated by other lasers, such as the Fraxel laser, the Limelight laser, or the RevLite laser.

Can the Genesis laser treat blood vessels on my face?

If your blood vessels have an exceptionally delicate network, the Genesis laser will effectively treat them. Otherwise, you may require another laser called the Cool Glide laser.

Can I have a Genesis laser after a facelift?

It is best to wait six weeks after a facelift before getting the Genesis laser.

Does the Genesis laser treat age spots?

The Genesis laser does not treat age spots. The Cutera Xeo AcuTip laser treats age spots.

Is it necessary to quit smoking to have the Genesis laser?

The laser is quite superficial, so there is no need to quit smoking.

Is the Genesis laser covered by medical insurance?

The Genesis laser is considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by medical insurance. The costs associated with this procedure will be discussed in detail before the procedure.
