Permanent Makeup

Permanent cosmetics procedures are considered permanent because the color is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. As with any tattoo, fading can occur, requiring periodic maintenance, color re-enhancement or color re-freshing. It is important to consider your personal desires carefully when selecting a potential permanent cosmetic makeup technician.

Theresa Judd is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Academy of Micropigmentation (D.A.A.M.) and a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (C.P.C.P.) by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. She is also a member of the National Cosmetic Tattooing Association and the Conventional and Cosmetic Tattooing Association. Ms. Judd is board certified in the application of traditional permanent cosmetics as well as advanced areola restoration and scar camouflage.

While some Certified Permanent Cosmetic technicians come from a medical or traditional tattooing background, very few of them have also worked as a professional make-up artist. Theresa's 10 years of experience as an actress and model has included extensive work in cosmetic artistry, both of the traditional and "permanent" variety. She offers her clients the unique combination of skill as well as a keen aesthetic "eye."

Theresa insists on the highest standards of safety, including the use of the most modern, innovative and effective equipment, topical anesthetics, disposable instruments and quality pigments. A Permanent Solution implements the same medical sterilization standards and procedures adhered to by physicians; as well as focusing personal attention on each client's special needs and features.

Her commitment to cleanliness and attention to fine detail are traits that she has lived with all her life as a "self-proclaimed" perfectionist. These characteristics have proven to be beneficial to Theresa as a Permanent Make-up artist. One of her clients joked, " being a perfectionist may drive others crazy but if I am having someone tattoo permanent eyeliner on me, I want someone who is a stickler for details!" The personal attention that Theresa gives her clients is also one of her most treasured trademarks, and it comes natural to her. She is genuinely enthusiastic when describing her reasons for deciding to devote most of her time to her work as a Permanent Cosmetics Technician, "I get to experience what it feels like to make someone happy. Due to the nature of my work, I also get a chance to really be one-on-one with people." Theresa's extensive background in cosmetic artistry also allows her to offer additional suggestions to her clients on ways they can enhance their natural features.
